THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST IN THIS PROGRAM. THIS PROGRAM IS FULL - Registration is now closed.
Grow Clinton is excited to partner with Iowa State University Extension to bring a world-class tool called IDI used by thousands of individuals and organizations to build intercultural competence and to achieve international and domestic diversity and inclusion goals and outcomes.
The Intercultural Development Inventory® (IDI®) is the premier cross-cultural assessment of intercultural competence tool in the world. In contrast to many “personal characteristic” instruments, the IDI® is a cross-culturally valid, reliable, and generalizable measure of intercultural competence. Further, the IDI® has been demonstrated to have high predictive validity for both bottom-line, cross-cultural outcomes in organizations and intercultural goal accomplishments in education.
Whether you are just beginning the journey to incorporate diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) or are looking for opportunities to enhance your DEI outcomes, the Intercultural Diversity Inventory is the perfect tool to add value to you and your organization.
More about this 3-hour program:
Participants will complete an individual confidential IDI® assessment.
Participants will attend a two-hour session on cultural competency, followed by a one-hour Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) action-planning session specific to our community demographics.
Participants will schedule a one-on-one virtual confidential consulting session with an IDI certified coach to debrief on their assessment and to discuss DEI growth goals and opportunities.
As a Grow Clinton member, we invite you to participate in this professional development opportunity! The cost of this program is sponsored by Grow Clinton. Each participant is responsible for paying the cost of their individual assessment. The assessment will need to be completed prior to the 3-hour session on 5/10/2023 – assessment instructions will be given after registration is complete. Lunch will be provided!
