• Horst, Gifford earn promotions at First Central State Bank

    First Central State Bank President and CEO Brigham Tubbs recently announced promotions in the Clinton-area market.
    Josie Gifford, in her third year at First Central, has been promoted to Teller Supervisor Officer. Amanda Horst, in her second year at First Central, has been promoted to Assistant Vice President, Private Banker.
    “Amanda and Josie continue to showcase the ability to develop valued relationships with our clients and team members,” Tubbs said. “As a community bank, we strive to cultivate those relationships both inside and outside of our physical locations.”
    Gifford, based out of the Clinton-Lincoln Way location, oversees daily teller operations and is the primary Customer Service Representative at that location.
    “The company culture and the people I work with are wonderful,” Gifford said. “I enjoy being a part of a company that cares so much about their employees and customers. I am looking forward to continuing to be a positive team leader and hoping to inspire more involvement within our community.”
    Horst has more than 15 years of banking experience and is located at the Clinton-North 2nd Street branch. As a Private Banker, she works with clients on consumer loans and customer service responsibilities.
