Summer Fun Pass Launched

We are excited to announce the launch of a brand new digital passport for the Camanche / Clinton / Fulton area!

The River Cities Summer Fun Pass has more than 70 different activities to participate in and places to see throughout the region. Entertain yourself at festivals, concerts, and live music. Have fun learning at historical sites and museums. Get back to nature in the woods and on the river. There is so much you can do, including lots of FREE activities!

Then not only do you get to discover all of the fun things to do, but you can check in and earn points to redeem for cool Visit The River Cities swag. We have stickers, flashlights, t-shirts, flying discs, and more!

Here’s how you get and use the passport.

  1. On your phone, go to qrco.di/EarnPoints , or scan the QR code attached to this article. Click on the River Cities Summer Fun Pass and follow the instructions to sign up. You’ll need to click the “Checkout” button, but rest assured there is no fee to use it and no credit card required to register.

  2. Once you click on “Complete Order” and you will receive a text message to your phone, with a link to access the passport. Using this link puts an icon on your phone, but the program is actually stored online so it won’t take up your phone’s memory. Save it to a home screen on your phone so you can find it easily.

  3. To use the pass, click on the icon and allow access to your location. Then start checking in! You can use the “filter” button to sort items by nearest to you, or to sort by month or category. Many of our locations are geo-fenced, meaning you just need to be near them to check in. Some locations will require a pin number, so you’ll need to get that from inside the shop or activity. The pass will tell you which you need.

  4. To find your free swag, just explore the “Rewards” tab in the app. When you have enough points for the item you want, stop in at the Grow Clinton offices and redeem your points! We are located at 721 S 2nd Street in Clinton, Iowa, next to the south bridge.

Don’t forget to also check out the River Cities Art Trail passport to find murals, statues, and more throughout the area. And if you need even more passport fun, hop in the car and check in on our Iowa Scenic Byways. That passport earns you trading cards from our local legends. You can find it at qrco.de/driveGRR (which stands for Great River Road).

Keep watching this fall for a Bites & Beverages themed passport that will offer discounts and deals from local establishments. (And if you are a restaurant or beverage stop that wants to be included, email us at lwebster@growclinton.com and we’ll get you on that list.)
